The Juans

Hey yall!

This week went by so fast and I don't really remember what happened, but here is a quick recap:

- We were able to meet with our friend, Juan Silva, a couple of times. He accepted the invitation to be baptized! So we are excited about that! He is always so happy to meet with us and gives us food and drinks, but they are questionable...hahahaha!

- We also met with our other friend named Juan Mesquita. We taught him about our purpose in life and what will happen when we die. He was smiling during the whole lesson. It was the most emotion he has ever shown and it was so cool to see how happy it made him. God has a plan for us and it gave Juan so much hope!

- We were able to meet with Ana Maria this week. She slept through church, but had us over for lunch on Sunday. She wanted to make us something American, so she made us hamburgers and french fries. The hamburgers didn't have buns and then she put a fried egg on top of the fries. It was definitely different but it was still good!

- While knocking doors this week we met a 95 year old lady. I asked her if she read the bible and then she started quoting like the whole thing. She was so funny and gave us chocolate when we left.

- This week we had a noche de hogar with an inactive family. After the lesson they told us this was exactly what they needed to hear and that they will start coming back to church! During the lesson, we talked about the importance of our decisions. I shared a quote my mom used to tell me all the time, "Your decisions determine your destiny." I love this quote. Focusing on the Lord in all of our decisions will help us feel joy!

I hope yall have a good week!
